I have a decade's worth experience as a workshop leader, host of events, stand up comedy, talks on poetry and storytelling in schools and community groups.

Talks and Workshops -

As an inspiring but also relaxed and comic performer, I love to give talks on poetry, Shakespeare, empowerment, comedy and storytelling in all forms. I've worked with many schools, community groups and in theatres. I'm open to all approaches in this area.

I can also provide creative writing workshops that enable and empower any level. Clients included Holborn Community Association, Sutton Library Services, Apples and Snakes, Patron of Reading in primary schools, Creative Partnerships in primary and secondary schools. I've been a writer in residence for schools, libraries and festivals. Please get in touch!

Workshops I have facilitated as a trained teacher and lecturer at 14+ include Stand Up Comedy, Drama, Storytelling and Poetry.  I have been an assessor for GCSE Literature in Poetry and Shakespeare and can provide targeted and confidence boosting literature based workshops.

Gigs

Stand Up Comedy - I've been touring shows and gigs since 2010, book me as a friendly MC, for solo show 'Stand By Your Nan' or 'How to love life even when it's rubbish' or slots for gigs. As an opener I enjoy bringing a high energy and fun atmosphere to any gig with a storytelling style.

I also gig as a Poet and hosted Words Aloud events from 2014-2021, bringing an inclusive and interactive shared experience to the room. Featured at events She Grrrowls, Poetry Cafe, Dodo Modern Poets and Apples and Snakes Artist in Residence. Arts Council funded through National Lottery Project Grants.
